The #satechBOS UnConference is an event that attracts Student Affairs administrators, Higher Education faculty, and Educational Technology business partners together to discuss current and future technology trends.

In its second year, the UnConference is shifting from its original format.  Instead of staying in one large group for the entire event, we will split up into smaller groups for more focused conversations. Participants will not only engage in peer-peer learning around topics they have chosen, but also will be asked to "create" something in those smaller groups through "creation stations."  Participants will be asked to create, foster, or develop an idea that they can take back to their respective campuses and communities and use immediately.  Each group will present their ideas on Friday morning to the large group for feedback, and all of the ideas will be shared at satechbos.com.

On Thursday evening, everyone in attendance will be invited to a "Dream Up" (think TweetUp but people who 'Dream Big') at the Cornwall's Pub.  Here we will continue the day's conversation and encourage each other to actualize ideas generated during the day. 

Our goal?  To bring together Student Affairs professionals, faculty, and business partners who are passionate about growing their technology literacy and use it to inspire and drive change through programs, services, and ideas born in a peer-peer learning environment.

This is not your ordinary Higher Education conference event.  You will be challenged to not only share, learn, and grow, but also to create.  It's time to move beyond all the talk and do something with the knowledge we learn from each other.

Our Target Participants:

• Student Affairs in Higher Education administrators passionate about growing their technology literacy and application
• Faculty members or administrators looking to contribute ideas and create collaboration opportunities with others
• EdTech companies who want to collaborate and partner with Higher Education administrators and practioners
• Innovative thinkers and doers in the education space. 

Costs Involved:
The event itself will be FREE. Other costs include all related travel, meals on your own, and parking ($8) in the adjacent garage. Boston University is also accessible via the T (Kenmore Square Green Line Stop).
